GLP-1

GLP-1

GLP-1 agonists are a class of medications mainly used to help regulate blood sugar and promote a healthy weight.

Originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes, GLP-1s are often used to support weight loss in people who are overweight or have obesity by curbing feelings of hunger.

A majority of GLP-1 medications are administered via injection, with dosage and frequency depending on individual needs and goals, as well as the guidance of a healthcare provider.
