Uterine cancer occurs when cells grow uncontrollably in the womb lining, often causing vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. Endometrial cancer is the most common type. A hysterectomy procedure is the primary treatment for uterine cancer, but other treatments include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
