Cystic Fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition in which mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs becomes sticky and thick, which causes breathing, digestion, and developmental issues. Most people receive their CF diagnosis during childhood. Inhaled antibiotics, pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy, and specialized exercises can support daily life with CF.
