Michelle Riba, MD, is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a consultation-liaison psychiatrist and the director of the psycho-oncology program at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, as well as the co-director of workplace mental health solutions at the University of Michigan Eisenberg Family Depression Center.

Dr. Riba is a section editor for the journal Current Psychiatry Reports. She is a past president of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training, and the Association for Academic Psychiatry, and she is a former secretary for scientific publications for the World Psychiatric Association.
