About
Maura Rhodes is executive editor of The Well at Everyday Health. In more than 20 years of editing, writing, and packaging content for national women's service magazines and websites, she has honed the craft of identifying the sweet spot in a research study, trend, or interview with a scientist, influencer, or celebrity, pulling out that germ of an idea, and growing it into eye-catching, page-turning, informative, actionable, entertaining, and clickworthy content.
Before joining Everyday Health, Maura held staff positions at Self, Health, and Parenting magazines and ShareCare.com, and contributing editor positions at iVillage.com and VeryWell.com. Besides writing about diverse topics ranging from fitness, nutrition, and wellness to pregnancy, parenting, and children's health for magazines and websites, Maura has written and edited books and contributed personal essays to anthologies about breastfeeding, bringing up boys, and navigating blended families.
She lives in New Orleans.
