About
Adina Perullo is a thirtysomething mother of two young boys, Luca and Lorenzo, and the proud wife of NYPD officer Matt Perullo.
She's thankful to have experienced such incredible joy in her life: becoming pregnant with Luca after seven months of infertility treatment, then with Lorenzo two and a half years later without medical intervention, as well as starting and growing her own boutique wedding planning business, A Perfect Day Wedding Planning + Coordination.
More recently, she has found strength and resilience in the face of tragedy, after she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in 2019, and rediagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2020.
Adina's journey with breast cancer has been documented on News 12 Long Island and Channel 7 News, and in publications including Crain's New York Business. She has been a keynote speaker at breast cancer walks with the American Cancer Society, presented at press conferences with former Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, walked runways at breast cancer events with A World of Pink, and has fundraised for the Metastatic Breast Cancer organization METAvivor.
Adina hopes to be around long enough to see the miracle of a cure for breast cancer, or at least a medical breakthrough that turns this incurable condition into a chronic disease that can be effectively managed. Her dream is to see her children grow up, graduate high school, get married, and even bring grandchildren into the world for her to love.
